The Orion MC170 is the perfect subwoofer to compliment any home cinema system application using speakers from the new MC170 range. It will work in tandem beautifully with a fully fledged 5.1/7.1 multi-channel system containing the Antigua, Jersey and Socoa MC170 loudspeakers. The dynamic low frequency capacities and efficiency of the Orion MC170 subwoofer enable you to enjoy the full musical range of dynamics, range and control found within the main Cabasse MC170 system channels.
The Orion MC170 subwoofer is fitted with a vertical port, down-firing and radiating over 360° near floor level. This sophisticated technical solution eases speaker positioning, brings purer and deeper low-frequencies for sonic experience that is always lively and dynamic. The 360° down-firing port simplifies discreet positioning in room.
If the Orion MC170 is required as a stand-alone subwoofer away from the rest of the MC170 speaker range, then of course it won't fail to disappoint in this department - it will help any system requiring lower end sonic reinforcement. The Orion MC170 has a very dexterous and dynamic 200 watt amplifier and is paired with one of Cabasse's agile 21cm down firing woofer, enabling it to reach down to a satisfyingly low 30hz.
As with all Cabasse products the Orion MC170 subwoofer exudes the best quality finish of all their class-leading products, being available in a natural oak or ebony finish. Even if you don't have any Cabasse speakers, no one would blame you if you'd be tempted by an Orion MC170 subwoofer to compliment the rest of your audio or audio visual system.
