The Cabasse Santorin 25M2 is a high quality and stylish free standing active sub-woofer.
The Santorin subwoofers are tuned to work extremely harmoniously with any Cabasse satellite speaker, so if the requirement is a smaller to medium stereo zone or a multichannel application, it will work in tandem beautifully with the Eole 3s or the iO2s in particular.
The input signal can be fed into the subwoofer via high level inputs, meaning that it can sit on any platform where high level connectivity is required and in a 2.1 system the speakers can be paired directly to the Santorin 25M2 subwoofer, using the dedicated high level outputs. In addition to these high level inputs the 25M2 also has low level (or line level - RCA/Phono) inputs enabling it to be fed via dedicated outputs of amplifiers, processors or audio matrixes.
If the Santorin 25M2 is required as a stand-alone subwoofer or used with the Cabasse Eole 3s or iO2s in a home cinema application, then of course it won't fail to disappoint. The Santorin 25M2 has a very dextrous and dynamic 250 watt class D amplifier and is paired with Cabasse's 25cm down firing woofer, enabling it to span the low half of the acoustic range very effectively with a frequency response 34 – 150 Hz.
